At the indicated time, we'll meet at 211 West 43rd St to begin this exciting Christmas lights tour of New York City. From there, we'll hop aboard a luxury bus that will whisk us from Times Square to Brooklyn's most festive neighbourhood. With complimentary hot cocoa and a holiday cookie in hand, we'll be ready to dive into the holiday spirit!
We'll make our way into Brooklyn, where Dyker Heights is located. This is New York's Italian neighbourhood, known for its Christmas decorations, equal parts surprising and extravagant! There, our guide will lead us on a walking tour to see the neighbourhood's most impressive homes.
Light-up reindeer, inflatable snowmen, mechanical dolls, music all around you and special effects in abundance... the houses in this neighbourhood put time and effort into making each one a work of art. Some spend as much as $20,000 on Christmas decorations for their house!
As we stroll through the neighbourhood, our guide will share fun stories about the origins and history of this beloved New York tradition, giving even more magic to the experience.
Afterwards, we'll hop back on the bus and start making our way back to Times Square. On the way, keep your eyes peeled for New York City's landmarks glowing for the holidays—from the Empire State Building and Hudson Yards to the Freedom Tower and the famous lights of Times Square. There will be plenty of time to capture festive photos against these sparkling backdrops.
Finally, after a total of 3 hours, we'll arrive back at the starting point and bring this festive activity to an end.
